Dracula’s Cabaret Restaurant’s edgy new show.
Eek (literally), get excited guys, Dracula’s Cabaret Restaurants’ creepy cabaret show Nine Pints is well and truly underway and if you haven’t yet had the pleasure (pain) yet, it’s high time you did.
Nine Pints opened late last year and having received rave reviews ever since, should be number one on your list of late night to-dos.
The clever crew at Dracs, who have gifted us countless epic shows over the years, have shifted from the sassy vaudeville style of entertainment we know and love and having witnessed Nine Pints for ourselves, we are not sad about it.
The new show brings a scintillating Vegas-after-dark style of performance complete with aerial trance acts, live rock music, dark mime, burlesque and of course, absolutely outlandish comedy skits including some good-time audience interaction that is guaranteed to amuse you.
Nine Pints features identical twins and contortionists, Amy and Alyssa Cameron who, at 18 years of age, can bend in ways your eyeballs have never witnessed before. Which they do, alot. Wouldn’t mind having been born into that fam but what can you do.
There’s a tribute to members of the 27 club (young celebrities who passed away at the age of 27), brought to life by the incredible instrumental skills of the band and some fancy dance moves and keep your eyeballs peeled for the (really quite unflattering) shots of you being scared out of your mind on the ghost train for everyone to laugh at.
The cast is made up of local, interstate and international talent and they are quite the clever bunch of eclectic creeps.
As of right now, Dracula’s is offering the option to purchase show only tickets meaning you can just glide in, enjoy the entertainment and glide on out again for just $59. You can also add on an optional tapas menu including many a tasty treat.
The Cabaret ticket includes a ghost train ride (terrifying), a three course dinner and the epic show from $95 per person.
Of course, if you want to go the whole hog – VIP A Reserve – (which we HIGHLY recommend), you get a delicious three-course dinner and the show experience for just $115 per person. It also includes the ghost train ride, canapes and a glass of sparkling wine upon entry and some time spent in a very scary room.
As always, the cocktail bar is open all night long with their signature skull-shaped cocktail glasses, smoking tipples and all kinds of creepy goodness you definitely must taste.
In closing, hurry up and buy tickets to Nine Pints. It’s sexy, sinful cabaret at it’s very finest and we get to experience it right here on the Gold Coast.
Oh and be prepared for MANY surprises throughout the night, every single person involved at Dracula’s Cabaret brings their A game every single time.
Best.
