Here’s a fun time, we’re going to round up all the very best events we can find and pop them into a story so you can plan the next month of your life. If planning a month in advance is a thing you’re into of course.

Starting from the top and heading toward December (woah), here are all of the things you should get involved in for the next 30 days. Because 30 days has November etc. (sidenote: whoever invented that song deserves a Nobel Peace Prize or some such honour).

Josephine Ulrick and Win Schubert Exhibition
A photographic exhibition of epic proportions showcasing artists both amateur and established. See it until November 25th at HOTA.

Day of the Dead
A celebration of artists past at Currumbin’s Dust Temple, Day of the Dead will feature music, art, eats and a bar. Everything you could possibly need. November 2nd from 6pm.

Posh Pets Parade
All of the prettiest pooches will converge on Marina Mirage for the annual Posh Pets Parade. Head along to preview the top fashion trends of the upcoming season. On November 3rd from 2pm.

Derby Day
One of the most-loved race days of the year is happening again at the Gold Coast Turf Club on November 3rd. Derby Day is all about bold black and white fashion and it’s not to be missed.

Meera
A beautiful Bollywood-style production created by Gold Coast local Aarti Bajaj. Showcasing several styles of dance and a stunning love story, catch it on November 4th for one night only.

Melbourne Cup
There are parties galore across the Coast on Tuesday November 6th. Check out our list of favourites here. Frock up and get involved in the race that stops the nation.

The Betoota Advocate Roadshow
No doubt you’ve heard of the hilarity that is The Betoota Advocate, a satire-style newspaper created to sledge anyone and everyone. At NightQuarter on November 9th, Editor Clancy Overall will launch a no holds barred tirade filled with their trademark wit.

Bonjour French Festival
Kurrawa Park will come alive with berets and French fanfare once again this November. Head down on November 10th and 11th for French markets foods, a French cellar and lots of good times for the kids.

Shakafest
A party that’s not to be missed, Shakafest will shake up the Gold Coast on November 24th. Featuring Bliss N Eso, Last Dinosaurs, Frenzal Rhomb and Alex The Astronaut, get your tickets here.
