Bistro 19

New to The Marine Village, Sanctuary Cove.

It’s not often we get news from the top end of the Gold Coast about new restaurant openings, but we love to support them when they do.

Recently, beloved Bistro 19, located within The Marine Village at Sanctuary Cove threw open their doors to the awaiting locals. Previously Cafe 19, the new venue has an invigorated menu and swanky fitout to match.

Faithful customers of old will vouch that Café 19 always had a welcoming atmosphere and extensive menu spanning across breakfast, lunch and delectable snacks with some of the best coffee available in The Village and their new offering is certainly no different.

Bistro19 offers a newly extended menu to incorporate dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings, providing visitors to Sanctuary Cove with a more casual and informal evening meal option which is family friendly (pooches welcome too!).

We’re always a big fan of a grazing board and at Bistro 19 you can relish in one of three delectable options encompassing antipasto delights, fresh seafood and fine cheeses paired with a delicious glass of chilled wine or sparkling, or for something more substantial, everyday favorites like flame grilled steak or delicious burgers are on offer.

Their breakfast and lunch menus have also had a renaissance with favorites like waffles, haloumi stacks and golden corn fritters making the cut for a delicious breakfast treat, while Pumpkin & feta Salad, Salmon Fettuccini and the much-coveted Club Sandwich sit firmly on the popular new lunch menu.

Chef specials are available daily and if you’re up for a sweet treat (who isn’t?), the display cabinet will entice you with a sea of delicacies including cakes, tarts, breads and other home baked goods. The coffee is of course a crowd favourite and take away options are available on all available items.

If you think the menu sounds impressive, then wait until you see the fresh new interiors. Navy and gold accents with exposed brick and all new white furniture welcome diners, as does their impressive wall art sketches by the talented Ashley Bunting which are scattered throughout, many an instragram-worthy spot to sit.

A reinvigorated outdoor deck dining area is light and airy and is the perfect spot for a bit of sunshine, all while enjoying the wonderful new offerings.

So if a day trip is on the cards for a day at The Marine Village in Sanctuary Cove, look no further for a spot to people watch than at Bistro 19.
