By now you’ve probably heard about the luxurious new resident within Tower One of The Star Gold Coast and yes, we’re talking A-lister here. You can put away your autograph books though, as this superstar isn’t in human form, but rather an uber sleek, lust-worthy pool club and events space. Now generally speaking, you need to be staying in-house or attending a swish event at said venue to revel in its stardust, which leads us to an exciting community announcement. Cue the drum roll please because Isoletto Privé and Lawn is hosting a lavish Melbourne Cup luncheon….and extending the invitation to One.And.All! This means you could be among the first to tag yourself at this ‘it girl’ premises, rocking your race day finery and lapping up the high life. Giddy up!

An affair of this stature will most definitely fill your cup (of fancy French champagne that is), and make you feel cooler than a bag of ice from the servo. Upon arrival, make your way to the stunning sun-drenched deck for premium canapés, a three-hour beverage package, live racing screens, a guest MC, live DJ’s, and more. Be wowed by the organic neutral palette with pops of bright lemon and melon furnishings and yes, balancing tasteful and trendy with Instagrammable finesse. We can taste the oysters and bubbles now, and feel a profound wardrobe crisis brewing coz this place gives good Faaarshion. Speaking of, there’s also Fashions off the field, and our thirst for a red-carpet-worthy look just levelled up a notch #DesignerFrockRentalsComeAtUs.

So back to the VIP vibing eats, start your gourmet grazing off at the Oyster Station. Think seasonal freshly shucked oysters, fresh lemon, mignonette, finger lime, bacon and onion dressing. If these pearl-bearing aphrodisiacs aren’t for you, sashay on over to the Antipasto Station. Here you’ll find a cured and dry selection of meat, chutney, marinated vegetables, and olives which is great, but #ThankYouNext coz cheese. Boasting a vast selection of the most decadent local and international varieties, perhaps don’t size down when you order those designer threads.

Rest assured there’ll be healthy lashings of carbs to soak up the bubbles and ensure you remain vertical. We’re referring to the live Paella Station which could only be upstaged by a live Ravioli Station and yep, there’s one of those too. Watch talented chef’s whipping up these swoon-worthy Spanish and Italian classics, feeding your eyes as well as your tastebuds. Just try not to flick any sauce down your frock, coz that ‘ole chestnut sucks some serious eggs. There are also roaming hot and cold canapes, like Smoked Salmon and Crème Fraiche Blinis, and our eternal edible Achilles Heel, Two Cheese Arancini, with truffle mayonnaise.

Now let’s give a shout-out to the liquid heroes of the day and of course, only the finest drops will grace your lips. For the bubbles loving bae, it’s NV Veuve Clicquot ‘Brut’ Champagne direct from France for the win. For wine warriors, how about a glass of Craggy Range Sauvignon Blanc from Martinborough in New Zealand and no, we didn’t just misspell Marlborough. There are also other white and red varieties, plus three beers including Stone & Wood Pacific Ale. For the DDs out there, Isoletto sees you and is putting on an assortment of soft drinks and juices.

So there you have it. Not only will you enjoy a deluxe afternoon of Cup horseplay, but you’ll be flexing some serious fancy and turning the glitterati green with envy. Tickets are $249 per person (plus Eventbrite booking fee) and can be purchased here.
