Leave the crowded boats behind and join us on a personalised, small group whale watching adventure with a maximum of 12 passengers on board our Cougar Catamaran, Reef Cat II.
Reef Cat II is a fast and stable vessel with ample seating (inside and out), an electric flushing toilet and a roof with roll up side curtains to help keep you protected from the elements. She has 2 quiet, smokeless Yamaha outboard engines and is equipped with modern electronics and all required safety gear.
The whales and dolphins just love Reef Cat II, and often come over for a closer look due to her size.
At 10m long and 3.5m wide, she’s plenty large enough for you to comfortably move around or sit back and take it all in, but she’s small enough to have you closer to the water, which means closer to the action! She’s perfect for photographers and videographers too.
Your skippers, Bec and/or Kaleb, have extensive knowledge and experience on the “Humpback Highway”, both working on various whale watching, diving and fishing vessels from the Great Barrier Reef down to Port Stephens, for 20+ years each, with the majority of their experience being on the Gold Coast.
Complimentary inclusions on your whale watching adventure are tea, coffee and biscuits, as well as soft drinks, water and sunscreen available throughout the cruise. Photos and videos taken by the crew will be available on social media, and also on request via an emailed dropbox link.
We also see dolphins, turtles, various sea birds and flying fish on most trips.
