Let’s get bistro-sy!

If you thought the Burleigh dining scene was buzzing already, you were right. But things have now been taken up a notch. Mex Cartel has undergone a makeover and has been reborn as Blaire’s Bistro – where laid-back eats take on a gourmet twist and cocktails are fresh as spring itself.

Behind the new vibrant venue are the hospitality gurus who brought us the oh-so-sleek La Bella Cellar. We haven’t been this excited about a burger in a long time! However, Blaire’s Bistro is not just about burgers. They’re here to elevate all your favourite comfort foods to stratospheric heights. The venue has been completely refurbished, creating an ambient atmosphere perfect for a casual dinner date or to catch up with friends.

Blaire’s Bistro takes all your classics and delivers them in prime form. Fries are not just fries here; they’re thick-cut and crispy as they come, with shavings of Grana Padano, finished with parsley and smoked paprika and sided with black truffle aioli. Do you get where we’re going with this? Their menu is utterly superior.

And let’s not forget about the star of the show: the ‘Baby Back Ribs‘! You can go it your style: enjoy them with a baked potato with sour cream and chives or a crunchy apple slaw alongside fries. Choose from bourbon BBQ, spicy Korean glaze, cajun maple or honey soy sauce (we know it’s hard) for full-flavoured, juicy ribs that’ll be hard to forget.

Other highlights include Blaire’s decadent Mac & Cheese Bites, which are essentially little nuggets of joy; generous truffle and parmesan fries that could make even the most dedicated carb-lover swoon; and steak and fries, which come served with a delectable Café de Paris butter that’s practically begging to be slathered on everything. We know this all sounds deluxe (which it is), but not to worry. At Blaire’s, you’re treated to gourmet food without the gourmet prices. Talk about a steal!
