Get excited Burleigh Heads because two of everyone’s favourite things, food and markets, have come together in the one open air space for all your over-indulging needs.
BBQ Bazaar will slide open its doors for the first time tonight (Friday the 13th) with 22 food stalls to soothe your hungry self.
It’s pretty much a big old barn-style space with twinkling fairy lights and rows of market stalls, all boasting a delicious array of eats.
There are 16 BBQ-related stalls for the biggest first course you’ve ever attempted and five dessert options in case you’ve got some space left.
Because we understand you’re dying to know – here are some of the foodie delights on offer.
La Cannoleria will bring all your boutique cannoli dreams to like while Dragon Fired Pizza is your onsite wood fired pizza go-to. Crying Tiger is bringing the Asian fusion street food goods and Garlic and Spice is all the best Korean eats.
Not to mention there’s burgers, European sausages, rotisseries, wings, brisket, all of the things.
Dessert-wise there’ll be Spanish donuts, ice cream AND specialty cakes and slices.
Of course, there’s a bar at one end and seating for over 500 people so grab your gang and get down there for a guaranteed good time.
Yes, you can consume all your favourite cocktails plus there’s live music and plenty of space for the kids to run around.
It’s the foodie space Burleigh Heads needs and deserves and we are definitely here for it. Plus, it’s around the corner from our office so we probably live there now.
