Time to update your plant collection.
Time to update your plant collection.
Plants are life. Literally because they create the air we need to breathe and figuratively, because they bring us happiness and brighten up our homes.
We’ve become quite the plant collectors over the last year and we are, in a word, obsessed.
Many of those green babies came from a little place in Burleigh Heads called Greenfolk which you’ve probably heard of, if you too are a big old plant fan. But if not, whip out your credit card because you’re about to go on a spending spree.
Owner and horticulturalist Emily Cloke is one of the most passionate plant lovers we’ve ever met and she opened Greenfolk a few years ago to share that passion with the Gold Coast.
In her (previously) little space, she offered a stunning range of collectable plants and beautiful pots in all of the colours and patterns and an absolute wealth of knowledge to go with it all.
The store became so popular and so overflowing with goodies that Emily recently had no choice but to move into a new space, bigger and even more beautiful than the first.
Nestled under the fairy lit Fig Tree canopy (a few steps down from Tarte), the light filled, terrarium-style botany shop incorporates all the eclectic plants and colourful ceramics Greenfolk is known and adored for; made up of Emily’s long standing plant expertise; cultivated from a lifelong passion for all things green.
The newbie comes with a brand new collection and you’re going to want to get your hands on absolutely everything.
There are some highly sought after collectible plant species along with a kaleidoscope of limited edition pottery designs and organic plant care products to explore.
Locally crafted artisan ceramic vessels sit alongside a hand selected plant range where quality is key. Each species is carefully curated to thrive in our sub-tropical climate too.
There are hand painted original pots; designed by Australians, a key feature of the space. It’s a plant (and an art) lovers dream.
So if you’re in the market for some new greenery and maybe an incredible pot to pop it into or you’d like something unique that will also double as a piece of art, look no further.
Greenfolk has got you covered.
