Santa Barbara Speciality Coffee is brew-tiful.
Sometimes grabbing perfectly poured coffee and impeccable guilty tasty treats whilst you’re on the go — or better yet on a mission — means you may be wary of compromising on quality. We’ve all been there, right? The classic service station coffee and sausage roll when you’re desperate is the stuff of nightmares. However, one forward-thinking, bubbly couple looks to have cracked the code on the northern end of our city.
Emma and Kevin have taken it upon themselves to open the aesthetically pleasing and welcoming Santa Barbara Speciality Coffee at Hope Island. Aptly positioned for all you boating types out there who might think it’s an arduous task to grab a barista-made coffee and treat before you hit the water — well, think again, as they are a stones throw from the Santa Barbara boat ramp. And for the rest of us who prefer to keep our feet on terra firma, you’ll still discover a breezy cafe haven you likely won’t want to leave.
Part of the uniqueness here is that you’ll find the cafe on the handy and always convenient YQueue app, allowing you to grab and go with ease. There’s a rather pleasing 50% off special waiting once you sign up for those new to the app. — If there’s one thing better than great coffee, it’s discounted great coffee!
On the caffeine side of things, Santa Barbara Coffee is pulling out all the stops with speciality coffee roasters Supreme. Those who are fans of this niche and lauded coffee roaster will attest to how damn good it is! Not only will you be able to get your hands on all types of espresso-style coffees, they will also be showcasing regular feature filter roasts, ideal for all you folks out there who love their batch brew!
Tea lovers rejoice because you’ll come across a wide selection of Love Tea, the ultimate purveyors of organic artisan tea loved across the country. Should you feel like a refreshing hit of vitamins and all the good stuff, there’s a selection of Harvest St cold-pressed juices as well!
The food offering at the moment is purely delectable counter creations from the likes of Burleigh Bakery, Fuel Bakehouse, and Gold Coast Cookies. Choose your way between Twice Cooked Almond Croissants, Cinnamon Scrolls, and New York-style gooey cookies. In time this cute, light and easy cafe will begin to do more substantial eats such as Bacon & Egg Rolls and Smashed Avo on Toast. But for the time being, they’re pretty happy pumping out fabulous coffee alongside some of the Coast’s best artisan pastries and treats.
The space itself has been put together with vast amounts of effort regarding styling and decor — and it shows. There are hints of green, and clean white features punctuate the space whilst the granite-look benchtop is the centerpiece to everything. QR codes are handily available at tables meaning if you feel like an additional drink — or you will have that Carrot Cake — you can order and have it brought to you without even leaving your seat. And make sure you bring the whole family or gang along when you come to check them out, as they are more than happy to welcome kids and your furry companions!
See you there!
