We’re snow keen for The Star’s Snow Party on the Lawn.
We’re snow keen for The Star’s Snow Party on the Lawn.
The perks of living on the GC are many and varied, but there’s one specific type of FOMO that crops up this time of year, and that’s watching all our Southern friends and fam carving it up on the slopes, chillin’ like a villain and living their best snow lives.
So when in rolls our chance at next best thing – an epic winter-themed bash – it’s snowifcial, we’re so there. And call us snowflakes, but this is arguably the perfect way for us professional beach dwellers to live out our winter fantasies – because in snow way are we cut out for prolonged negative temps.
Don’t pack away the ironically ugly sweaters just yet, because The Star Gold Coast is rolling out one last winter hurrah, with allll the comfort of our balmy GC temps (and none of the frostbite risk).
On Saturday 26 August, there’s a chance 100% of frosty fun and frivolity when the Snow Party on The Lawn returns to the Garden Kitchen & Bar as the ultimate farewell to winter for another year.
As one of our very favourite recreation destinations, The Star Gold Coast is well known for their ability to show us a darn time. The alfresco surrounds of The Lawn are always a vibe, and hold on to your beanies, people, because it just gets better – with free entry to this unmissable snow soirée, we haven’t igloo why anyone would want to miss this.
Come and frolic under the stars, surrounded in snowflakes and the warm glow of the festoon lights as day turns to night – with the good vibes set to (officially) kick off from 6:30pm.
With the headliner act triple-threat producer/DJ/vocalist Stace Cadet set to take the decks, this epic event just reached all new levels of cool. A phenomenal home grown act making big waves on the dance music scene, you can trust Stace Cadet will bring the Energy in more ways than one. Both on account of his hit song by the same name – coming in at a cool 40 million streams world wide – and all the face-melting dance bangers you know he’ll be dropping left, right and centre.
Also keeping the vibes high will be roving entertainers, along with Sea FM’s Bianca Dye bringing the bants as your MC for the evening. Never ones to miss the opportunity to fully commit to a theme, of course the #winterwarmers also come in the form of winter inspired eats and Canadian Club drink specials. There’s also a stack of giveaways, including Canadian Club merch up for grabs – and really, could this night get any cooler?
So don’t flake on this in-shred-ible way to farewell winter, come on and party at The Star like it’s snow bunnies business this August.
