Cog-ratulations Steampunk, you’re officially an ‘e-steam-ed’ brunch bunch fave.
Certain culinary experiences just never run out of steam and for us, it’s the Sunday brunch. This one in particular has us brunch-o-holics in a chokehold and is ‘clocking’ up some serious hype all over town. Friends, get ready to ‘gauge’ the yum factor, enjoy some ‘riveting’ conversation, and feel those impending Monday blues ‘dis-a-gear’ with Steampunk’s scrumptious Sunday brunch!
Already bringing a unique experience to the Surfers Paradise eats and sips scene with its modern Victorian-era décor, it’s totally steamrolling the competition with this epic brunch addition. We’re talking two hours of pure gastronomic pleasure, complete with live music and a two-hour drinks package to start your engine right! And, stretching over two whole hours means you can chillax and savour every mouthful which is awesome, coz feeling like we need to rush through a meal really grinds our gears.
For $85 per person, we’re talking a tapas-style feast, inviting you to explore new tastes and ignite the senses. From small plates bursting with flavour to delightful bites, vegetarian delights, and cheeky cheat-day chomps, the exciting menu offers an array of mouthwatering options to satisfy every palate.
Enjoy a classic Bruschetta, combining ripe diced tomatoes, fresh basil, garlic, and a hint of balsamic vinegar, followed by Corn Ribs basted in cowboy butter. Served with a side of creamy ranch dipping sauce, let’s be honest – they had us at Cowboy Butter.
Then, tuck into Canadian classic, Poutine – Steampunk style. Featuring a luscious combination of cheese sauce and house-made gravy, thank goodness calories don’t count on Sundays (insert Pinocchio nose emoji). There’s also Beetroot Arancini and like the Sunday Brunch concept, arancini will forever hold a special place in our hearts (and stomachs). The luscious blend of beetroot, parmesan cheese and herbs is not only delightful to eat, but the vibrant colour screams Instagram me.
Steampunk do a bang-up job of Tempura cauliflower, with a fiery fusion of flavours that combine the delicate crispiness of tempura with the bold and spicy kick of Frank’s famous hot sauce. And what’s a brunch without Salt & Pepper Calamari, lightly fried to perfection and drizzled with sweet soy and creamy aioli (it’s one of their most popular dishes for a reason!).
For those who enjoy a Sunday tipple, you’re in luck because the two-hours drinks package includes a variety of beers, wines, spirits, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages. As Rhi Rhi would say, cheers to (what’s left of) the weekend!
And because our ears have feelings too, the champs at Steampunk have selected a lineup of talented musicians to complete the multi-sensory experience. Enjoy live tunes while you kick back with your crew, carefully curated to elevate those chilled Sunday Brunch feels.
