You better beer-lieve it.
You better beer-lieve it.
You may be familiar with the terms Summer of Love and even the Winter of Discontent, but how about the Spring of Beer? Yes, we did, in fact, make that up. However, when you consider the three huge festivals revolving around beer heading to the Gold Coast this Spring, well, the name appears to be apt as can be.
So, for all you ardent beer and cider lovers out there, we’re guessing we’ve got your full attention. Read on to find out about these amazing hops and yeast inspired events coming your way this September and October.
Crafted Beer and Cider Festival
Now in their 5th year, Crafted is back once again with another stellar lineup of brews, entertainment and eats that will rival any festival lineup. There will be a staggering 40 different craft breweries all vying for your thirsty attention with an estimated 250+ beers and ciders for you to quench your thirst with. You may not be able to try them all, but hey, God loves a trier, right?
Set upon the sun-blessed Kurrawa Park in Broadbeach, the one-day festival will not only have you strolling for hours meeting brewers and discussing all things beer and cider, but there’s also an opportunity to get amongst Gold Coast favourites Granddad Jacks at their own dedicated craft spirits bar and if you have wine on the brain — fear not — Carafe Wine have you covered.
There are enough food options to wave a stick at and a foot-stomping lineup of music from Gold Coast local band Luca Basi, national faves Pacific Avenue and more.
When: Saturday 11th September 2021
Where: Kurrawa Park, Broadbeach
Tickets from $41.85

The Only Oktoberfest – Gold Coast [PLEASE NOTE THIS EVENT HAS NOW BEEN POSTPONED.]
What can be better than embracing your inner German side: donning lederhosen, drinking vast amounts of beer, and slapping your thighs with delight?
For the first time, lovers of German culture on the Gold Coast will soon be able to enjoy Australia’s biggest authentic annual German celebration — and all the beer and pretzels that naturally involves! The team that has brought you, Oktoberfest Brisbane (revered to be the best Oktoberfest outside of Germany), for the last 13 years is now bringing The Only Oktoberfest to the Gold Coast. Information surrounding the event is limited at the moment, but if their Brisbane festivals are anything to go by, this will be an all-time occasion. Stay tuned.
